Boundary Mill store designed by Kitchequip with Valera/Jordao counters
Avid TV viewers will be familiar with the Boundary Mill store in Colne and the eagle eyed amongst them may well have spotted the spectacular ‘U’ shaped patisserie display unit from Valera’s ‘Simply’ range which was installed as part of a project carried out by Kitchequip.
Kitchequip designed, project managed and installed this beautiful display unit early in 2013 and it was specifically designed to be suited up to existing counters as a new continuation, giving a striking appearance and maximum visual display for the wide range of cakes, patisserie and Viennoiserie on offer to Boundary Mill’s customers. The flexibility offered by the ‘Simply’ range and the fact that it could be seamlessly joined to the existing counters played a key part in the decision to select it.
Boundary Mill are an exacting client and Kitchequip delivered all that was expected. Plans are underway for similar projects in other Boundary Mill stores throughout the UK.

No drama at new theatre cafe thanks to Valera
Valera’s ability to supply quality counters and serveries to the tightest of lead times was a key element of an installation recently carried out in conjunction with General Catering Solutions at the Apex Theatre in Bury St Edmunds.
The new, ultra modern Aspretto cafe bar at the theatre features a Vision Patisserie counter supplied by Valera and it provides the focal point for the new cafe installation which combines warm oak cladding with sleek, stylish white granite work surfaces. Working to a very short deadline and within a very limited workspace Valera was nonetheless able to provide a solution that was in keeping with the overall look and feel of the venue whilst simultaneously maximising the area available for the display of Aspretto’s wide range of cakes and patisserie products.
The Apex Theatre offers free events at various times during the year and opens daily on non event days for visitors to enjoy a coffee at the Aspretto bar and to view the high quality art work in the contemporary gallery on the first floor.
